Our Impact Partner, The TAYO Collective, is a creative community that exists to empower women formerly trapped in the sex trade in the Philippines to develop products, services, and life skills to launch them into a dignified career. TAYO is the Tagalog word meaning, “to let stand or to build,” and is also the pronoun for “we.” In sum, TAYO means, “to stand, to build, together,” and these attributes are precisely the core values of who we are.
